The Army carried out a further wave of arrests Wednesday believed to be part of a crackdown following the assassination of a Lebanese soldier in Syria earlier in the week.The Army also raided the Hermel district border village of Al-Qasr twice Wednesday following a similar search the day before that led to the arrest of two suspects, the state-run National News Agency reported.The Army, along with the Directorate of Intelligence, raided the village early Wednesday and arrested five people allegedly in relation to Qaq's death. Another five people were arrested when the Army's airborne regiment raided Al-Qasr in the afternoon.
