The Change and Reform bloc Tuesday denounced what it called the "malicious behavior" in some public institutions, days after the finance minister was reported to have replaced a top post previously held by a Christian in his ministry with a Shiite Muslim.The bloc is led by the mostly-Christian Free Patriotic Movement.Finance Minister Ali Hasan Khalil was reported to have endorsed appointments at the ministry, appointing Mohammad Sleiman, a Shiite, as the head of the senior taxpayers section, replacing Bassema Antonious, a Maronite.
