A Prague court Thursday released Lebanese citizen Ali Fayyad, who has been in Czech custody since 2014, while five Czech nationals who had been abducted in Lebanon returned to their country. The Czech justice minister's decision comes as five Czech nationals returned to Prague from Beirut after a six-month abduction ordeal, a security source told The Daily Star. The disappearance of the five Czechs, treated by Czech authorities as a suspected kidnapping, has been connected – by media in both countries and a security source – with the detention of Fayyad and two others at a Prague hotel in 2014 .The security source added that the government plane will head directly to Prague.
