The newly formed alliance between the Free Patriotic Movement and the Lebanese Forces would not be at the expense of the FPM's Memorandum of Understanding with Hezbollah, MP Michel Aoun said Thursday.In a dramatic development, LF leader Samir Geagea expressed his backing for Aoun in presidential election last month.Aoun, the founder of the FPM and the head of the Change and Reform parliamentary bloc, said that his understanding with Hezbollah had spared the country the effects of regional turmoil. Aoun said that throughout the 10 years, Hezbollah had dealt honestly with the FPM.Aoun explained how he reconciled his MoU with Hezbollah and his agreement with Geagea, particularly regarding his stance from Hezbollah's arms.
