Deputy Speaker Farid Makari Monday accused Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea of trying to sidestep Future Movement head Saad Hariri with his surprise endorsement of Michel Aoun last month, and in doing so dismembering the March 14 alliance.Makari revealed that Hariri informed Geagea about his intention to endorse Marada Movement leader MP Sleiman Frangieh's presidential bid six months ago during a meeting in Paris. However, Makari's remarks were refuted by LF and Future Movement officials.Tensions have been simmering between the parties of the March 14 coalition since last month, when the LF chief endorsed the candidacy of his wartime foe, Change and Reform bloc leader Aoun, for president.
