Residents of a Mount Lebanon town Thursday called on authorities to prevent the establishment of a cement factory in the area, vowing to defy what they called a "death project".Mukhtar Antoine Badr warned that a previous request by the businessman to obtain a license to build the plant in the town was "unanimously rejected by the municipal council" in April last year. However, he added that Fattoush managed to obtain approval from the ministries of industry and environment to begin constructing the plant.
