Change and Reform Bloc MP Ibrahim Kanaan Friday called on rivals to respect the will of Christians and peoples' opinions concerning the presidential elections.Last month, a historical reconciliation between LF head Samir Geagea and his war-time foe Aoun at the former's residence, led Geagea to surprisingly endorse the candidacy of the founder of the Free Patriotic Movement MP Michel Aoun for the country's top post.FPM Education Minister Elias Bou Saab later told reporters from Bkirki after a separate meeting with Rai that "General Aoun has the wider Christian representation and if he manages to secure his election, then no one will fear for the fate of Christians".He highlighted that the meeting with Rai focused on means to end the power vacuum and the situation of Christians during the "exceptional" circumstances through which the country is passing.
