Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri met Tuesday with more ministers and foreign ambassadors who underlined the need for Lebanon to elect a new president as soon as possible.Hariri also met with the Egyptian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Badreddine Zayed who called for ending the presidential vacancy. He noted that Hariri had met several months ago with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in Cairo. Hariri also met with the Russian Ambassador Alexander Zaspykin who stressed the need for the swift election of a president.Lebanon has been without a president since May 2014, when Sleiman's mandate ended.
