Hezbollah's parliamentary bloc warned Thursday that a recent deal reached between Israel and Cyprus over an oil pipeline could fall within Lebanon's Exclusive Economic Zone. However, while five years have passed since the ratification of the Offshore Petroleum Resources Law, the government has yet to issue two decrees that would pave the way for the first licensing round for offshore gas exploration in Lebanon's EEZ.The bloc expressed disappointment over the seven-month trash crisis the country was still witnessing, calling for a temporary return to sanitary landfills and a waste-to-energy plan.
