The embassy received several delegations from across Lebanon in a sign of support after Saudi-Lebanese ties were dealt a blow last week following Riyadh's aid suspension.The Cabinet convened for five hours Monday in a bid to appeal to Saudi Arabia of its commitment to Arab consensus. Prime Minister Tammam Salam, who urged Riyadh to reconsider its decision, announced that he would head a ministerial delegation to visit Gulf countries. The March 14 coalition, headed by the Future Movement, blames Hezbollah for its increasingly confrontational stance toward Saudi Arabia as well as its involvement in the Syrian war.
