The Free Patriotic Movement's parliamentary bloc expressed regret Tuesday that Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil was being blamed for the recent Lebanese-Saudi tensions.Bassil, who also heads the FPM, refused to endorse an Arab League statement last month which classified Hezbollah as a terrorist organization and accused Iran of supporting terrorism.Bassil defended his stance by saying he could not agree to classify a Lebanese party as a terrorist group, pointing to agreements in the Cabinet that Lebanon must not make decisions that harm national unity.
