The relatives and supporters of ex-lawmaker Hasan Yaacoub Monday blocked roads in east Lebanon and Beirut to protest the MP's "arbitrary and political detention".The brother of Yaacoub, Ali Yaacoub, said the family did not like to cut off roads or disturb people's lives, calling for more supporters to join the open-ended protest in Beirut's Safa Mosque, where he spoke from.Yaacoub's family had announced an open-ended protest last week from the Safa Mosque in Beirut's Ras al-Nabaa neighborhood.
