The Fatah Movement is preparing to eliminate terrorist groups in the southern Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh, a local news agency reported Monday, saying the movement has entered an extremely delicate phase in its efforts to assert greater control. Security sources told the Central News Agency that Fatah is preparing for the largest and most dangerous phase of an operation to secure the camp. Sources told the CNA that Fatah had begun preparations for the elimination of terrorist groups that have established a safe haven in the camp for their members. The camp has been threatened several times as Fatah leaders have been targeted and the group has subsequently retaliated.
