Telecommunications Minister Boutros Harb Saturday defended the head of state-owned telecom operator Ogero Abdul Mouneum Youssef against accusations of corruption.The party's youth commission accused Youssef of corruption and running an isolated island instead of a state institution, and the Central Inspection Department is investigating Youssef for alleged violations committed while in office.Harb also touched on the presidential crisis, emphasizing that a proposal by Future Movement leader MP Saad Hariri to elect Marada Movement chief Sleiman Frangieh as head of state remains viable.
