The decision by Lebanese Forces chief Samir Geagea to back the presidential bid of his rival Free Patriotic Movement MP Michel Aoun is not a political maneuver, LF media spokesman Melhem Riachi said Tuesday.Geagea and Aoun have both strongly opposed Hariri's presidential initiative to elect Frangieh to resolve the 20-month-long vacuum. Many considered that Geagea was no longer a viable March 14 candidate after Hariri's initiative to elect Frangieh became public in November.
