Marada Movement leader MP Sleiman Frangieh will eventually back Michel Aoun for presidency as he has always been true to his word, Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said Monday.Geagea's meeting with Rai comes a day after the LF chief endorsed the presidential candidacy of his old-time rival Aoun, who head's the Free Patriotic Movement's parliamentary bloc.Frangieh declared Monday that he would not drop his presidential candidacy despite Aoun receiving the endorsement of Geagea.In its first official statement since Geagea's endorsement of Aoun, the Future Movement's parliamentary bloc welcomed the reconciliation between Geagea and Aoun, saying it is following up on the outcome of the matter.Earlier in the day, FPM leader Gebran Bassil met separately with Speaker Nabih Berri and former Tripoli Minister Faisal Karami to discuss Geagea's endorsement of Aoun.Bassil later met with Karami, who welcomed the LF and FPM agreement to nominate Aoun.
