The Army Tuesday carried out raids in east Lebanon in an attempt to locate a Kuwaiti national kidnapped over the weekend from his farm in Western Bekaa.Tuesday, the Army raided the homes of fugitives in Hay al-Sharawneh, part of the northeastern city of Baalbek, seizing 16 closed-circuit cameras, drug-producing equipment, as well as some light weapons and ammunition, according to an Army statement.The fugitives weren't at their homes at the time of the morning raids, the statement said.The Army engaged in clashes in surrounding Baalbek areas last month with members of the Jaafar clan, after carrying out raids to apprehend fugitives behind the 2014 killing of a couple in the village of Btedaai, west of Baalbek.
