Future Movement leader Saad Hariri will continue to back Sleiman Frangieh's presidential candidacy as consultations between rivals are still ongoing, party MP Ahmed Fatfat said Wednesday.Geagea had been understood as the Future Movement-led March 14 coalition's only presidential candidate until an initiative led by Hariri to back Frangieh for the post was revealed in November. Both Aoun and Geagea, who are long-time rivals, fiercely opposed Hariri's initiative to elect Frangieh.Geagea's unlikely endorsement of Aoun on Monday was widely seen as a jab at Hariri over the Frangieh initiative.
