Change and Reform bloc leader MP Michel Aoun has hit back at his March 8 ally and presidential rival, Marada Movement chief MP Sleiman Frangieh, saying the Lebanese Forces and Free Patriotic Movement represented more than 80 percent of Lebanon's Christians.Aoun has been at odds with Frangieh since the latter emerged as a presidential candidate following news of his backing by Future Movement leader Saad Hariri in November. LF chief Geagea, who had at that point been the Future-led March 14 coalitions official candidate for presidency, responded bitterly last week by forfeiting his own candidacy to endorse rival Aoun. Despite the longstanding animosity between the LF and Hezbollah, Aoun expressed optimism that he would be able to bring them closer together.Hezbollah has remained mum over the presidency since the LF's endorsement of Aoun.
