A twinning project between the Mzaar Kfardebian Ski Center in Mount Lebanon and the Courchevel ski resort in France was announced on Sunday in a ceremony held in the famous Lebanese winter resort town."Lebanon without its snow is not Lebanon, and the climate change happening led to the decrease of snowfall in Kfardebian in Christmas just like in Courchevel, which proves the need to preserve the environment and the natural resources we have in Lebanon, so it can attract tourists especially in winter," Pharaoun said in his speech. He hoped on seeing further developments in Kfardebian and Lebanon's other ski resorts, saying the country witnessed an increase of 18 percent growth in tourism last winter whereas the growth in other countries was declining.
