Eid al-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, comes at a difficult time for Lebanon and other Arab countries, which are still recovering from a spate of attacks that have left hundreds dead.

Hariri On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, former Prime Minister Saad Hariri extended his congratulations to Lebanese and all Muslims.

FadlallahSayyed Ali Fadlallah said that Eid al-Fitr falls during hard times for Lebanon and the Arab World, noting that the fight against terrorism requires a united effort.
