During the prayer gathering, Sidon Mufti Sheikh Salim Sousan condemned Monday night's attack on the Saudi city of Madina, killing four people outside the mosque where the Prophet Mohammad is buried.Eid al-Fitr prayers were also held at the Grand Mansouri Mosque in Lebanon's northern city of Tripoli, attended by several officials and MPs. Following the prayers, North Lebanon Mufti Sheikh Malek Shaar warned of attempts to ignite sectarian strife in the country, warning that Lebanon could return to the civil war period.
