Last month, the Military Tribunal issued verdicts against 38 suspects in the Abra clashes, with sentences ranging from six months to 10 years behind bars.The 38 suspects are different from Assir's 33 loyalists who will stand trial with the preacher Tuesday.The defense lawyer said Assir is suffering from weakness in his body and is thus losing a kilogram every 10 days.A radical anti-Hezbollah preacher, Assir went into hiding in June 2013 following the Abra clashes.
