Lebanon will win over terrorism and the financial sanctions placed against it, Speaker Nabih Berri said Thursday, as he stressed his commitment to the accord that ended Lebanon's Civil War.Berri underscored that the money that the Lebanese diaspora made was earned with hard work and respect, praising them as the only hope Lebanon had.Despite praising the support that Arab countries including Saudi Arabia have provided for the country especially after the 2006 Israeli war on Lebanon, Berri was critical of Arab states for failing to fully commit to their promises.Berri also renewed his support for the Taif Accord, which was signed in Saudi Arabia in 1989 to end the 1975-90 Civil War.
