Education Minister Elias Bou Saab announced Monday that correction of entrance exams taken at all branches of the Lebanese University's Faculty of Economics and Business Administration will be halted until injustice has been corrected. Some students completed the exam without showing any identification documents while others were prohibited from taking the exam.Allegedly, this resulted in hundreds of students not admitted to the exam. The Education Ministry's Examination Department administers entrance exams for the Lebanese University based on the latter's recommendations; it supplies exams to the examination centers and provides proctors and corrects the exams, but it does not control who enters or leaves the examination center, the source said.
