Lebanon's judiciary Wednesday charged 17 Lebanese and Syrian individuals with belonging to extremist groups and seeking to destabilize the country, state media reported Wednesday.Military Prosecutor Saqr Saqr charged a Syrian, who is in custody, with belonging to Daesh (ISIS) in the northeastern Lebanese town of Arsal.Military Investigative Judge Fadi Sawan indicted Alaa and Ali Rami Hmeid for being members of an armed terror group with the aim of carrying out terror acts, participating in clashes in the Tripoli neighborhoods of Bab al-Tabbaneh and Jabal Mohsen, opening fire at Army and security forces members, the attempted murder of soldiers and vandalizing public and private property.
