Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk said Thursday that security threats posed by Sidon's Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh weren't new, emphasizing that security authorities were dealing seriously with the matter.Mohammad Hamdan was wounded in Ain al-Hilweh, in the urban slum's Fawqani street after being shot several times Thursday morning, a security source told The Daily Star.The source added that Hamdan might be affiliated with Fatah al-Islam's leader Bilal Badr, adding that tensions prevailed in Ain al-Hilweh for the last 10 days due to repeated attacks and "assassinations".Speaking to The Daily Star Wednesday, a senior Palestinian security official revealed that the physical features of the suspect were similar to three well-known individuals who live inside Ain al-Hilweh.
