The British Embassy in Lebanon announced Wednesday the donation of 1,000 sets of body armor to a Lebanese border regiment deployed near the site of last month's suicide attacks.The statement said the contribution brings to 3,300 the number of body armor sets the U.K. has donated to Lebanon's Army under its "Train and Equip" program.Britain has been helping Lebanon's Army strengthen its control of its border through the construction of watch towers and donation of military equipment since the outbreak of the crisis in Syria. Shorter's visit to Al-Qaa comes one month after eight suicide bombers blew themselves up in the town in two waves of attacks.
