Hezbollah released an internal memo for its party members instructing them not to shoot in the air or partake in celebratory gunfire, warning them of harsh punishments that could reach them including being cut off from the party.During the speeches of Hezbollah secretary-general Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah extensive gunshots can be heard echoing around Beirut but often leave citizens either wounded or dead.Last week, Nasrallah said that he would take strict disciplinary measures against any supporters who engage in celebratory gunfire, reported Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar.In the memo, Hezbollah said that this issue has been discussed on multiple occasions, but this time organizational measures will be taken.
