The submission of the resignations of two Kataeb Party ministers Tuesday will hamper the work of the Cabinet but not lead to its collapse, sources close to Prime Minister Tammam Salam told The Daily Star.The Kataeb Party announced the resignation of Labor Minister Sejaan Azzi and Economy Minister Alain Hakim earlier Tuesday.Justice Minister Ashraf Rifi resigned in February.The resignations are not final, as they have not yet been accepted by Salam, who has previously described the Cabinet as "the Cabinet of garbage and corruption". Gemayel said that the Cabinet was not concerned with the interests of Lebanon. Kataeb ministers are also at odds with the Cabinet on the Janna Dam project.FPM MP Ibrahim Kanaan expressed his surprise at the Kataeb's stance.Christian parties have also clashed with the Cabinet over State Security appointments.
