Lebanese Communist Party leader Hanna Gharib Sunday made a new scathing attack against the country's ruling political class, saying Lebanon's authoritarian leaders were ravaging its capabilities.Gharib, who was officially elected secretary-general of the Lebanese Communist Party in April, was previously the head of the Union Coordination Committee.He became a prominent figure in the country after rallying for years behind better rights for teachers, demanding a salary increase.
