Former Kataeb Party chief Amine Gemayel Tuesday said he hadn't intervened in measures taken by the party's political bureau, denying that he had opposed the decision to dump Labor Minister Sejaan Azzi from the party.Gemayel's remarks come a day after the Kataeb Party revoked the membership of Azzi for defying its decision to resign from the Cabinet. Azzi Monday criticized the party's decision to revoke his membership, saying that the "arbitrary" decision was made even before the party chose to resign from Cabinet.
