Former Prime Minister Saad Hariri Thursday said he remained hopeful that a new president would be elected soon as he held a series of high level meetings and tours.Choucair expressed anxiety and fear over the current turmoil the economy is experiencing, calling for the election of a president and the formation of a new Cabinet led by Hariri. Hariri promised his visitors that he would look into methods that would rid the nation of its economic woes. Hariri also met representatives from the Democratic Gathering bloc including MPs Marwan Hamade, Antoine Saad and Fouad Saad.Hariri also welcomed a delegation from the Tashnag Party headed by MP Hagop Pakradounian.Hariri also met a delegation of Beiruti associations and mukhtars and mayors from Bekaa.
