Future Movement leader Saad Hariri was welcomed Friday by enthusiastic crowds and fireworks in the east Lebanon town of Saadnayel.Hariri later headed to Zahle were he met with Kataeb MP Elie Marouni. There, the Future leader emphasized that he shares the same political line with the head of Kataeb Party, Sami Gemayel. Hariri was accompanied by his chief of staff Nader Hariri, MP Assem Araji, and the coordinator of the Future Movement in the Bekaa Ayoub Kazaoun.Hariri's visit to Lebanon comes at a time of significant internal developments, including the vacant presidency and the recent rift between his party and Hezbollah after Saudi Arabia suspended $4 billion in grants for military gear for the Lebanese Army and police.
