Prime Minister Tammam Salam asked security heads Monday to take whatever measures they needed to allow for the implementation of a controversial plan to open three landfills around Beirut.The Cabinet agreed to open new landfills in the Beirut suburbs of Burj Hammoud and the Choueifat area of Costa Brava, and reopen the infamous Naameh dump for two months.The landfills in Burj Hammoud and Costa Brava, which is located on the coast, will open for four years as part of the "temporary" plan.
