Hezbollah and the Future Movement resumed their dialogue with full participation Wednesday after an escalating row between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia threatened to torpedo the talks launched over a year ago. Attending the 26th session on behalf of the Future Movement were Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk, MP Samir Jisr and Nader Hariri, the director of former Prime Minister Saad Hariri's office. Attending was Finance Minister Ali Hasan Khalil, the political aide of Speaker Nabih Berri.Speaker Nabih Berri said that Lebanon should either abolish political sectarianism or adopt an election law based on proportional representation which helps in achieving political stability.The Kataeb Party said it would only attend a Parliament session to elect a president.
