Head of Parliament's Media and Telecommunications Committee Hasan Fadlallah has emphasized that a probe is necessary and ongoing to uncover illegal internet networks compromising the state's security.The investigation into the alleged illegal internet service "is crucial in preserving the state's highest interests," Fadlallah said in remarks published in Al-Akhbar newspaper Friday. He revealed that the committee will provide the judiciary with all the legal documents to speed up the probe into the case. The minutes were given to Financial Prosecutor Judge Ali Ibrahim, Military Prosecutor Judge Saqr Saqr and State Prosecutor Samir Hammoud, according to a statement released Thursday by Parliament's press office.
