In the Beirut 1 electoral district, which is comprised of Ashrafieh, Rmeil and Saifi, Beirut Madinati won around 9,000 votes while the Beirutis' List got 6,000 .In the Beirut 2 district where many Shiites live, comprised of Bashoura, Marfaa and Medawar, Beirutis' List won around 9,000 votes while Beirut Madinati garnered 4,000 . The official results showed that the Beirutis' List, led by Jamal Itani, won about 15,000 votes more than Beirut Madinati.Yusra Sidani, running with the Beirutis' List, received the largest number of votes, with 47,465 votes, compared to the 31,933 votes won by Ibrahim Mneimneh, who heads the Beirut Madinati list.
