Argentine Foreign Minister Susana Mabel Malcorra pledged to help Lebanon deal with the Syrian refugee crisis during an official visit to the country. "We are here to complete work with Lebanon and to work on the ground and build basic principles concerning the refugee crisis which affects the entire region," Malcorra said during a news conference with her Lebanese counterpart Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil at the Foreign Ministry offices in Ashrafieh. For his part, Bassil reiterated Lebanon's position which calls for a political solution in Syria and for preserving its territorial unity.
