Neither key Christian parties, nor families have emerged as absolute or sole winners from the second round of municipal and mukhtar elections held in Mount Lebanon at the weekend, political sources said Monday.There are towns in Mount Lebanon, where an electoral alliance forged by Christian parties prevailed, and other towns where families emerged victorious, the sources said.The unofficial outcome of the Mount Lebanon elections showed that Aoun, the head of the parliamentary Change and Reform bloc, is still a major power to be reckoned with in a number of large towns, such as Jounieh and Hadath, while his calculations were not accurate in alliances in the Metn and Kesrouan districts.
