Election silence came into effect Saturday at midnight as Lebanon prepares for its third round of municipal elections in the South Lebanon and Nabatieh governorates.In the south's other province, Southern Lebanon, 410,656 citizens are expected to vote. Another list supported by the Communist Party is challenging Amal and Hezbollah's list in Deir Zahrani village. A heated battle is also expected to take place in the southern city of Sidon between the Future Movement and the Popular Nasserite Organization.
