Tripoli officials urged supporters to vote for consensus lists in the city and the town of Mina Tuesday, as authorities stepped up preparations for the last round of local polls set for May 29 .Former Prime Minister Najib Mikati, MPs Samir Jisr, Ahmad Karami, Mohammad Kabbara, Badr Wannous and Robert Fadel discussed in a meeting the local elections of Tripoli and Mina. Attendees then briefed MP Mohammad Safadi and former Minister Faisal Karami on the the talks by telephone.The officials highlighted the competence of the members of both consensus lists and their ability to enact developmental projects in Tripoli and Mina.
