In Notre Dame University's first student union elections since 2011, the Lebanese Forces-affiliated Active Students List Wednesday won the largest share of seats, taking 30 of the 47 . Three lists competed in this year's election: the Active Students List, the New Wave list and the Committed Bees list. The New Wave list, comprised of Kataeb members, won one seat, while the Free Patriotic Movement-backed Committed Bees won 15 seats. The Active Students List won the majority of seats in the Faculty of Engineering, with seven seats to Committed Bees' five, and eight seats to the Committed Bees' four in the Faculty of Business. The Faculty of Science was also won by the LF students with four seats to the FPM list's one.
