Customs officials Thursday confiscated smuggled mobile phones from a mobile phone shop in an east Beirut mall, and a judge overturned a decision to release phone smuggler Kamel Amhaz.Military Investigative Judge Riad Abu Ghayda overturned a decision to release Amhaz on bail.Amhaz has been accused of smuggling over 1 million mobile phones into Lebanon since 2000 with a value estimated in the tens of millions of dollars.Amhaz, along with two military personnel, have been charged with tax evasion.
