In security developments Monday, a Lebanese judge appealed a decision to release former Mufti Sheikh Bassam al-Tarras. Several protesters also gathered outside the Military Tribunal to protest the delay of Islamist inmates' detention.Military Prosecutor Judge Saqr Saqr appealed Military Investigative Judge Riad Abu Ghaida's decision to release Tarras. Abu Ghaida questioned the Tarras for two hours Monday before deciding to release him. Saqr had charged Tarras with knowingly communicating with two Daesh (ISIS) militants last week after he admitted to having ties to a terrorist organization.The final decision on Tarras' case will be taken by the Military Tribunal.
