Lebanese lawmakers passed urgent financial bills and other legislation during a two-part session Wednesday, raising the number of approved draft laws to 20 .Parliament held a morning legislative session and met again in the evening in an apparent effort to pass an electoral law.MPs passed five financial bills during the morning session, over reservations from members of the LF, FPM and Hezbollah.Hezbollah MP Hasan Fadlallah said before the evening session that his party had reservations over the financial bills because it speculated that the urgent need to pass them came from external pressure.FPM-affiliated MP Ibrahim Kanaan previously confirmed that his party would be attending Wednesday's session.The last parliamentary legislative sessions were held on Nov. 11 and 12, 2015, with lawmakers passing legislation that included a citizenship law, a new food safety law and a law to strengthen military infrastructure.A two-third majority, or 86 lawmakers, is usually required to convene parliamentary sessions.
