Free Patriotic Movement supporters flocked to streets across Lebanon to celebrate the much-anticipated election of the group's founder as the country's 13th president.Holding pictures of Aoun and waving FPM flags, Aoun supporters filled the streets outside the party's main center in Mirna Chalouhi in the Metn district.The streets of Aoun's hometown of Haret Hreik in Beirut's southern suburbs were papered with his image and as party flags fluttered in anticipation of his election.Later in the day, festivities will take place in Martyr's Square in Downtown Beirut, the nearby district of Ashrafieh, the coastal cities of Jounieh and Jbeil north of the capital among other places across Lebanon.
