A Lebanese parliamentary delegation visiting the United Kingdom requested assistance Friday from Scotland in extracting oil and gas from Lebanon's offshore reserves.The delegation is comprised of Chairman of the Committee of Public Works, Transportation, Energy and Water MP Mohammad Qabbani, MP Ali Bazzi and MP Joseph Maalouf.They met with the Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament Ken Macintosh and First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon to discuss ways in which Scotland could assist Lebanon in the oil and gas sector.
