Bilateral relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia will witness further improvements, Prime Minister Saad Hariri has said.However, relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia improved when President Michel Aoun visited Riyadh in January, his first visit abroad since taking office in October 2016, breaking the ice between the two countries.In January, AFP said that Saudi Arabia and Lebanon agreed to hold talks on restoring a $3-billion military aid package, opening a "new page" in bilateral relations.Saudi Arabia froze the aid deal in February 2016 over what it said was the dominance of Lebanon's Hezbollah movement.
