BEIRUT: The following security-related incidents took place across Lebanon since the start of the week: CLAN DISPUTE LEADS TOKIDNAPPING IN NORTHEAST LEBANON Internal Security Forces Tuesday confirmed the kidnapping of two brothers in Lebanon's northeast town of Hermel following a dispute between two powerful local clans, a security source told The Daily Star Tuesday. The two brothers, Ali and Hussein Moussawi, were reportedly kidnapped by a member of the Jaafar clan. POLICE ARREST SUSPECT SMUGGLING SYRIANS INTO LEBANON Police Monday arrested a Lebanese man suspected of smuggling Syrians into Lebanon via the country's eastern border. The Internal Security Forces said in a tweet that the Information Branch had also arrested 14 Syrians in a Mitsubishi vehicle in the Western Bekaa village of Jub Jennin.
